PRELUDIUM STRINGS

Entry Level Strings Orchestra

Preludium Strings provides young beginning musicians with an introduction to orchestral experience, helping them learn to follow the conductor’s instructions and essential ensemble skills. Participation is an ideal complement to private instrument lessons.

  • Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello & Double Bass
  • Weekly rehearsals, sectional coaching, workshops and performances
  • Suggested minimum age: 6 years old by the end of the calendar year. Ages range: 6 - 11+
  • Suggested opening skill level RCM 1 or its equivalent in Suzuki
  • Kenneth Kwan, conductor
  • Rehearsals: Tuesdays 5:15 - 6:15 pm, First United Church in Waterloo uptown (Sept-Apr)
