YOUTH SINFONIA
Intermediate Level String & Wind (NEW) OrchestraYouth Sinfonia provides young musicians with an introduction to symphonic music, combining groups of instruments found in a classical orchestra. By practicing and performing original compositions and various arrangements, Youth Sinfonia students have the opportunity to enhance their musical growth and orchestral performance skills.
- Instruments
- Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass & Harp)
- Woodwinds (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet & Bassoon)
- Brass (French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba)
- Weekly rehearsals, sectional coaching, workshops and performances
- Suggested minimum age: 10 years old by the end of the calendar year. Ages range: 10 - 16+
- Opening skill level RCM 5 or its equivalent in Suzuki

- Rehearsals: Mondays 5:15 - 6:45 pm, First United Church in Waterloo uptown (Sept-Apr)
